As an essential partner in the water industry, GKM possesses vast experience and involvement in all areas of the water cycle from extraction, storage and treatment to distribution and the management, re-processing and discharge of waste. We understand the need for high precision instruments, design and implementation, and are able to meet exacting specifications through an extensive pool of engineering knowledge enhanced by continuous training, education and experience.

We have executed water supply projects that include dams, river intake, pumping stations, filtration, treatment, storage and distribution. For these projects, we have designed, supplied, installed and commissioned state-of-the-art instrumentation, SCADA and telemetry systems. We also provide an expansive range of instruments that include flow meters, data recorders, loggers, analysers, controllers, monitors, sensors, transmitters and probes that are required at various stages of the water cycle and in district metering and pressure management.

In water leak management, detection and location, we provide a comprehensive range of equipment such as zone meters, noise loggers, pipe locators, correlators and ground microphones. Our services also include providing advice and assistance on zone measurement, pre-location and pinpointing location of leakages.

As a market leader of SCADA and telemetry systems in Malaysia, our installations are able to provide continuous on-line and real time measuring, monitoring, recording and control of process and system operations, and improve on the overall management of water supply and quality. Fully integrated, automated, multi-featured SCADA & telemetry installations can also be designed and implemented.

With continuous online and real time measuring, monitoring, recording and control of process and system operations, our systems can be designed to be fully automated and to monitor all process values like flows, pipeline pressures and other water quality parameters, with system reports on process operations generated periodically in accordance with client requirements. Aside from remote control of pumping and treatment plant operations from main SCADA server, George Kent’s SCADA systems are designed and implemented to the highest specifications to ensure efficiency and economy of management and distribution of clean water to domestic and industrial users.
