Gauges

Budenberg Gauge Ltd has an enviable name and worldwide reputation for manufacturing high quality, reliable instrumentation. Since its inception almost 160 years ago, the company’s name has been synonymous with high quality products and precise engineering equipment for monitoring gas pressure.

Till today, Budenburg gauges, valves and other products are all well regarded throughout the engineering community globally and can be seen being used in a variety of highly demanding industries. This includes the oil and gas, water and other sectors.

George Kent is proud to be supplying Budenberg products as it reflects our commitment to only provide the best to our customers.

  • Pressure Gauges

Catering from high to low pressure applications, Budenburg pressure gauges are built tough to serve under the most severe conditions on gases and liquids.

Each gauge comes with sound technical specifications to function over wide range of process and engineering applications. They are certified to adhere to current National and International specifications and regulatory standards.

Safety is a prime feature, whereby gauges have a full safety pattern and a blow out back, making each unit acceptable in applications where the units may undergo excessive pressures under extreme conditions. This helps provide increased protection to the instrument and the operator.

  • Digital Gauges

The all new DX digital gauge from Budenberg is designed to offer a truly simple, cost effective measuring to cover a wide range of applications from laboratory calibration to in-field use.

The DX is offered in a choice of standard ranges up to 700 bar in conformance with the EN-837 standard. Alternatively, units can be factory programmed to offer the precise range and pressure units required for any particular application.

Based around a high specification Peizoresistive silicon sensor, the DX has an accuracy of 0.1% of the calibrated span which is fully temperature compensated across the range of -10°C to 50°C thereby allowing accurate readings to be taken over a wide range of ambient conditions. The unit has a large five-digit LCD display that incorporates a vertical bar graph to indicate the percentage of the range being displayed. Menu keys allow the user to define or reconfigure the mode and characteristics of operation if required.

  • Chemical Seals & Seal Gauges

George Kent supplies various chemical seals and seal gauges for the food and processing industries. This modular system comprises an extension range of models, connections, materials and diaphragms to suit individual requirements.

Testament to the quality of these products is its extensive usage in critical processes involving hazardous and highly corrosive applications.

  • Differential Pressure Gauges

Model 180 differential pressure gauges are manufactured with a stainless steel diaphragm as the measuring element, the strength of which depends on the differential pressure graduation. The element is isolated from the pressure by two Melinex diaphragms so that only clean oil fills the chamber in which the mechanism operates. Melinex is a polyester film (polyethylene terephtalate) that is resistant to all petroleum refining industry fluids.

The Model 179F Differential Pressure Gauge consists essentially of two opposing bourdon tubes, each having its own connection but operating a common pointer that shows the difference between the two pressures. Used in applications that require an instrument to measure the difference between two pressures where the system pressure is up to 4 times greater than the differential range.

  • Thermometers

The high accuracy r ange of our temperature equipments are designed for process, petrochemical and hygienic applications. Standard features include fast, accurate and repeatable readings, fully adjustable display head, user calibration and all stainless steel construction. Customised units can also be manufactured to meet specific requirements. A full range of screwed and flanged Thermowells are available in a wide choice of materials and configurations.
